CAS Aufermann specialises in metal products for the fashion industry, which most of all require refinement for direct contact with the skin.
Metal processing and finishing
In addition to products for the fashion industry, white bronze is also used for technical items such as fittings for writing utensils, individual parts for buttons, vegetable peelers or spouts in the food sector.
Our work is based on certification according to EN ISO 9001:2015.
Our services range from stamping, bending, deburring (rolling and barrel finishing), hardening, electroplating, and painting to plastic coating. Nickel plating, brass plating, white bronzing, and gold plating are fully automated in a barrel process. Loose stamped, bent and turned parts made of steel, non-ferrous and light metals and their alloys are carefully refined in a rotating process. Surfaces of products as small as 2 mm can be finished in this way.

Stamping and bending
Depending on the requirements, stamping is carried out using mechanical presses with pressure capacities of 5 to 63 tonnes (50 to 630 kN), strip widths up to 150 mm, feed lengths up to 150 mm and strip material thicknesses up to 2.5 mm.
Bending is performed with universal machines for wire and strip processing with wire processing up to 3.5 mm Ø, strip material up to 40 mm wide and a strip feed length up to 400 mm.
CAS Aufermann processes materials such as cold-rolled strip, stainless steel, copper alloys and aluminium.
Rolling and trowalising
Vibratory grinding is a surface separation treatment process. The metal workpieces are placed in a rotating drum together with an abrasive in order to remove material in a controlled process. The workpieces can then be further processed to obtain various surface finishes.

Nickel plating, brass plating, white bronzing, and gold plating are fully automated in a barrel process.

Metal layer application
The process of electroplating involves applying a metal layer to the surface of a workpiece. It provides workpieces with additional properties and protects them against corrosion.
White bronze as a specialty
Our specialty is white bronze, which is not only limited to its aesthetic appearance but also has good mechanical properties. Due to its attractive colour, durability and versatility, white bronze is used as an allergy-friendly nickel substitute in various areas of the fashion industry as well as in everyday products that come in contact with the skin.

Individual parts or layering
In addition to finishing by adding a plastic layer, CAS Aufermann also uses plastic for the production of individual parts.
Plastic parts that are injection moulded on our own machines are then used for back pieces or in the clamping mechanism of trouser brace clips. For you, this means that production is flexible and fast without an additional supply chain.
